After you are ready to launch in the market with your product or services, as it’s new to the market marketing becomes necessary for that product and there are various mediums of marketing which is divided into two section digital and traditional so let us look each term one after another which one will help you according to your product to capture the market better at minimum cost.
If your business doesn’t need to be marketed at digital medium, then there is no point in trying to, right?
So, the question arises, when does a business not need to be digitally marketed and need of traditional marketing comes into existence?
A business doesn’t need when it is selling low priced consumer goods that are simple in nature.
When consumers need not go through a tough decision-making process to buy something, and when they do not need a lot of time to decide.
If a product is generic with a very wide targeting then tv ads can reach millions at a low cost.

So, what I am trying to tell you here is that digital marketing is NOT required if you are selling very simple business to consumer products (above mentioned examples), or very high-end business to business and Enterprise products, for example a company with products and services for high-end clients, If Wipro has to sell their software development services to HDFC, they will not be generating leads online nor will they advertise their services. They will get in contact with the right decision-makers, or it will market it widely via television ads to get client easily.
Before we understand when your products or service need digital marketing, at first, we should understand why it is important to do and it’s need is increasing day by day.
In the year 2019 an average person uses mobile near about 200 minutes per day and it has risen up to 300 minutes per day in the year 2020 (as per source by Dr. vivek bindra) and even because of corona pandemic and lockdown the importunate of digital marketing is increased dramatically.
And also, it is the best medium to reach the affluent English-speaking population in India with spending power of 100 million users.
All you need to have is great content to attract traffic and make people engage more in it because,

The products are high priced and also complex in nature which requires couple of question to be answered before buying, for example, if I have to sell my digital marketing services to a company, I have to generate leads. The number of people who can be my potential customers is very low and I cannot do mass marketing or advertising for my services.
As there are many tools and ways to market goods or services/content like SEO, Paid advertising, YouTube/video marketing… etc. you cannot rely on using only one and estimating it to be effective because there is no surety that people are going to make transaction.
So, is there any way to make it more effective and to make more conversion?
Yes, there is, what we can do is make everything work together like a machine to achieve better results. Let me make it more clear to you, put your product/service/content at centre and do marketing of it by separate ways like in above picture.
so what happens is that traffic from various platforms comes to your free content and some people who like it may they will share it on social media and you will get more traffic towards your content and people register themselves with an email so whenever you are launching new product or content you can reach them directly by email marketing and the new people will continue to your content by various platforms of advertising and the process will be continued and results into builds trust and it will naturally sell and convert.
